Playground: A collection of experiments and explorations. Some come from old habits, some from things I’ve always loved, and some from the occasional “what if?”

01

Softbody Type

Drag the letters, reshape the box, or hold to pop.

My name, with a few things tucked inside.

Move around and little pieces of me start to show up: where I’m based, things I like, and a few things that probably wouldn’t make it onto a résumé.

02

Paper Plane

Open the controls, pick your paper, and let it fly.

What if my cursor was a paper plane?

It took me back to making them as a kid, folding whatever paper I could find and seeing how far they’d go. So I brought a little of that onto the screen with paper stocks, stamps, stickers, and textures.

03

Bézier Playground

Pull the points and handles to reshape the path. Reset whenever you want to start over.

SVG
reading outlines…

I used to spend hours pulling anchor points around in Illustrator until a curve felt just right.

I don’t use the Pen Tool nearly as much anymore, so I made myself a little place to play with it again, this time from the other side.

04

Liquid Type

Hover over the type and watch it drip. Press and hold on mobile.

I’ve always liked seeing how far I can push type before it stops behaving like type.

Here, the letters melt, stretch, and pool as you move across them.
